NU Loses Game 3 at Minnesota

 The Nebraska softball team dropped the third game of its series with Minnesota 7-5 on Sunday.



The Huskers won the first two games of the series in Minneapolis and ended the regular season at 29-22 overall and 12-9 in the Big Ten, good enough for a fourth-place league finish.


Sydney Gray, Ava Bredwell, Bella Bacon, and Katelyn Canada all had two hits against the Gophers on Sunday. Gray and Bacon each had an RBI, as did Emmerson Cope, while Brooke Andrews drove in a pair of runs.





In the circle, Sarah Harness took the loss after allowing six runs in 4.2 innings. Caitlynn Neal pitched the final 1.1 innings and gave up one run on one hit.


Minnesota ends the regular season at 27-24 and 13-10.


The official bracket for the 2024 Big Ten tournament will be announced later on Sunday.
